Our Leadership

Marshelle Berry is a seasoned workforce development leader, author, and advocate, deeply committed to empowering justice-involved and underserved individuals. As Owner and Chief Strategist of the Berry Professional Services Group, she brings over a decade of expertise in reentry support, career readiness, and community engagement. Her work is rooted in a guiding belief: that everyone deserves a second chance and access to tools for success.

Berry has held impactful roles with CareerSource Northeast Florida, the Florida Department of Corrections, and the City of Jacksonville’s Public Library. In each, she developed and led workshops, built employer partnerships, and supported clients navigating the complex challenges of rehabilitation.

She is also the author of It Still Hurts: My Father’s Painful Account of Survival at the Florida Industrial School for Boys—a powerful memoir that explores trauma, resilience, and the enduring legacy of institutional injustice. This lived experience informs her advocacy and compassionate, client-centered approach.

Berry holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies from Florida State University, a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of North Florida, and is a Certified Workforce Development Professional. Through BPSG, she blends personal insight with professional acumen to deliver transformative, results-driven workforce solutions that advance reintegration and economic opportunity.
